Our Lord died for the Church (Acts 20:28). His resurrection, however, serves to communicate to the world that His Church will survive all political, economic and georgraphical changes. The very gates of Hades have not and will not hinder our Lord’s Church.

THE CHURCH, HOWEVER, IS PEOPLE. The Church lives and grows and develops according to those who belong to it. “So we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” (Romans 12:5).

Each member, therefore, will make a personal commitment to the Body.

YOU ARE A PART OF THE CHURCH. One among many, but you are one, you need the Church for spiritual development. The Church in turn needs your service.

THE CHURCH MAY BE HUMAN IN ITS ORGANIZATION. BUT IT IS A DIVINE ORGANISM. It grows and develops by the guidance and leadership of the Holy Spirit.

YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN THE PRIVLEGES OF THE CHURCH. You should share in its responsibilities, committing yourself to serve not grudgingly but joyfully.

To the extent that you fail in your responsibility, the congregation lacks what you can give.

To the extent that you are responsible, the congregation becomes stronger.

YOU SHOULD NOT WAIT TO BE DRAFTED FOR SERVICE TO THE LORD’S CHURCH. You should volunteer, saying, “Here am I, send me!”

YOU SHOULD BE REGULAR. In your Attendance, Generous in your Giving, Kind in your Criticisms, Insightful in your Suggestions, Loving in your Attitudes. You should give to the Church your interest, your enthusiasm, your devotionMOST OF ALL YOURSELF.
